Overview of recent years
Qiao Yueshan, Director of the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, responded that in recent years, China's photovoltaic industry scale and market applications have achieved rapid development. In 2021, the output of polysilicon, silicon wafers, cells and components in the main links of China's photovoltaic industry chain will reach 506,000 tons, 226.6GW, 197.9GW and 181.8GW respectively, accounting for more than 70% of the world's output; newly installed photovoltaic capacity is 54.88GW, ranked first in the world for 9 consecutive years.
Current status
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology attaches great importance to the healthy development of the photovoltaic industry. Release and implement policies such as the "Standardized Conditions for the Photovoltaic Manufacturing Industry" and the "Smart Photovoltaic Industry Innovation and Development Action Plan (2021-2025)" to establish a baseline for industry development and guide the photovoltaic industry to rationally plan, layout and intelligent upgrades. Guide the preparation of the photovoltaic industry's comprehensive standardization technology system, industrial chain supply chain map, industrial development roadmap, etc., strengthen standard guidance, and promote the industry's continuous improvement of quality, efficiency, and cost reduction. Closely track the hot and difficult issues in the industry, and work with relevant departments to issue the "Notice on Promoting the Coordinated Development of the Photovoltaic Industry Chain and Supply Chain" to guide the upstream and downstream industries to strengthen collaboration. Future development
In the next step, we will strengthen industry overall planning, accelerate the high-quality development of the photovoltaic industry, and contribute more to the goal of achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
1. Continue to guide the healthy development of the industry. Implement policies related to the "14th Five-Year Plan" related industrial plans, standard conditions for the photovoltaic manufacturing industry, smart photovoltaic innovation action plans, and coordinated development of the photovoltaic industry chain and supply chain to guide the continuous transformation and upgrading of the industry.
2. Accelerate the promotion of industrial integration and innovation. The "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of the Energy Electronics Industry" were released to promote innovative breakthroughs in solar photovoltaics, new energy storage batteries, key terminal applications, key information technologies and products, etc.
3. Strengthen public service guarantees. Continue to optimize the industrial development environment, support the construction of industry associations, and strengthen cooperation between industry and finance to support the development of the photovoltaic industry. Accelerate the revision and improvement of the photovoltaic standard system, and promote the construction of public service platforms such as photovoltaic module recycling and carbon footprint verification.
